I was wanting to try the steak here, so instead of my typical preference of chicken/shrimp I was able to add the steak on top of the curry bowl! It was delicious and I enjoyed every single bite. Paired well with a maple old fashioned. Next time I’d like to try their duck fat burger! ”

“ The Thai Curry noodle dish with shrimp is beyond delicious. I can't stop thinking about how good it is. I definitely recommend it. *Update* Went back yesterday again and ordered their seasonal dish, cauliflower steak in a brothy couscous. Scrumptious!! Bright and savory with a splash of citrus. Perfect balance of flavors. I could eat this all day long. I ordered some wings as well. Tasty! Very friendly and prompt service. They definitely know what they are doing there. ”
“ Been wanting to go here for a while. Excellent service and food. We had maple old fashioned to start which were delicious. My husband had the blue gill fish fry. So good, tender fish with light breading, freshly made coleslaw. I had the hanger steak medium rare with creamed spinach and fries. Cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed it. Coffee and a gourmet homemade berry pop tart for dessert. We're stuffed! Go! ”

And my husband loves the duck fat burger. This is one of those places that I bring out of town people to. The menu is always amazing, I crave those noodles and that broth on the reg. “ A delicious surprise in West Allis! I like to spend my money in Milwaukee, which makes me a little closed-minded about venturing into the suburbs for food. My wife and I decided to try Wild Roots at the last minute on a Saturday early evening - and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The dry aged duck breast was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and paired with a celery root puree. The plating was beautiful and I hated to ruin it by mixing everything together, but the blend of flavor and texture by adding the carrots and sauce to each bite was worth it. I had to talk myself out of licking the plate clean. Topped it off with a fresh-made "pop tart" from Chef Thi - rhubarb/green apple. Glad we wandered over to Becher St. I will definitely be back! ”
“ Super cute little spot in West Allis! We got the Bulgogi Meatballs as an appetizer. It came with 6-7 bite size meatballs, super flavorful! I got the Vegan Thai Curry but added shrimp (not so vegan LOL) and it was delicious! Not too spicy and full of flavor. ”
